The solution to this was '''''CGHMN-Mail'''''. An email service designed to vaguely mimic the functionality of sites like Hotmail or Yahoo.

Built atop a (largely) unmodified Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 system running in a Windows Server 2003 VM. CGHMN-Mail has become the "defacto" email server for a large chunk of the CGHMN network.

This server is specifically designed to be as easy to access as possible. Supporting POP3, IMAP, HTTP and Exchange (2003) services. Internet Explorer 3.0 and up compatibility is included to maximize web client compatibility.

Users can register for the mail server at '''http://cghmn-mail.retro/register''' and then log in with their client of choice.

For users interested in using mail clients such as Thunderbird or Outlook Express, the following settings can be used.
